NEWS: Top Chef Quickfire Dining Concept to Open on January 23, Announces Executive Chef

We’re home to two Top Chef-winning chefs… Kevin Sbraga and Nicholas Elmi. We also have many chefs who have appeared on the televised culinary competition… Eddie Konrad, Jennifer Carroll, Natalie Maronski, Jason Cichonski, and Jen Zavala. And while the show is yet to film here, at least we’re getting an eatery inspired by the show.

The press release is as follows…

Bravo’s Emmy and James Beard Award-winning culinary competition series Top Chef” and Spectra, one of the nation’s leading food services and hospitality companies, will open a new location of Top Chef Quickfire in Philadelphia on January 23. It will be located in the Concourse at Comcast Center in Center City.

The Top Chef Quickfire menu will feature items inspired by favorite dishes from the show’s past cheftestants. The contemporary, renovated market space will include an open kitchen allowing for interaction with the chef, a grab-and-go case, and select seating. Kiosks will offer customers fast cashless checkouts, along with a traditional counter to place orders at the register. The premium concept will be open for lunch and available by request for private events.

Menu items will rotate seasonally to showcase an array of dishes from previous seasons. Philadelphian and past cheftestant Eddie Konrad (Season 16) is working behind the scenes as a consultant to assist with menu development.

Executive Chef Matt Stone, Top Chef Quickfire Philadelphia

Matt Stone has been hired as the executive chef of Top Chef Quickfire. He will be responsible for the daily operations with a focus on training the team.

Spectra designed the new location to make visitors feel like they have stepped into a Top Chef kitchen.

Below is a rendering. I’ll provide an actual photo as soon as I have one.
