FringeArts Theater Hosts Series of FEASTmas Dinners

Celebrate the holidays and support groundbreaking performing arts at this series of intimate dinners on the FringeArts Theater stage December 9 through 13.

Centered around a unique theme each night, the FEASTmas dinners include original four-course menus personally prepared by Philadelphia’s most exciting culinary talent.

Participating chefs and restaurateurs include Kiki Aranita, Ari Miller, Jill Weber, Pete Woolsey, and Joncarl Lachman with Lee Styer and Randy Rucker.

All dinners include four courses, wine pairings, and a presentation by the chefs around the evening’s theme. All proceeds benefit FringeArts.


Monday, December 9 at 7pm

FEASTmas Dinner: Joncarl Lachman, Lee Styer, and Randy Rucker

Theme: Game Night

Celebrated chef and restaurateur Joncarl Lachman (Noord, Winkel), teams up with East Passyunk neighbors Lee Styer (Fond, The Dutch) and Randy Rucker (River Twice) for an evening of game-centric dishes featuring duck, venison, rabbit, and more.


Tuesday, December 10 at 7pm

FEASTmas Dinner: Pete Woolsey

Theme: Parisian Holiday

Chef Peter Woolsey of FringeArts’ in-house brasserie La Peg prepares a unique meal that exemplifies his passion for French cuisine with favorite dishes from his three restaurants Bistro La Minette, La Peg, and the recently-opened Gabi.


Wednesday, December 11 at 7pm

FEASTmas Dinner: Ari Miller

Theme: Irreverent Jewish Deli

Chef Ari Miller (Musi) serves up traditional Jewish deli favorites like matzo ball soup and chopped liver with a creative twist and his signature focus on expertly sourced ingredients and seasonal local fare.


Thursday, December 12 at 7pm

FEASTmas Dinner: Kiki Aranita and Chris Vacca

Theme: Feast of the Seven-ish Fishes

Kiki Aranita and Chris Vacca (Poi Dog) create their own Hawaiian-inspired version of the classic Italian Christmas Eve meal Feast of the Seven Fishes with an evening of seafood-forward dishes accompanied by short videos and commentary about this and other holiday traditions.


Friday, December 13 at 7pm

FEASTmas Dinner: Jill Weber with Lucio Palazzo, Chris Vacca,
and Fimy Ishkanian

Theme: Food as Connector

Restaurateur and archeologist Jill Weber teams up with chefs Lucio Palazzo, Chris Vacca, and Fimy Ishkanian for a menu inspired by Weber’s archeological work in Italy and the Fertile Crescent. Featuring Middle Eastern mezze and ancient Roman delicacies, the evening will highlight how food connects people to place, past to present.
