Devil’s Den in South Philly is closing, new owners take over in October

Update: Bake N Bacon, a bacon-themed restaurant will open sometime this Winter.

Devil’s Den, one of the city’s premier craft beer bars for almost 15 years, at 11th & Ellsworth Streets, will close on October 10th, according to owner Erin Wallace. The announcement was made on the bar’s Instagram page today.

The post pretty much says it all. Very sad news. We wish Erin and her team well and look forward to hearing what’s next. Details as soon as we get them.

In the meantime, go for a final round of craft beers and a good meal before they close. Share your favorite memories with us in the comments!
