DePaul's Pronto Graduate Hospital Philadelphia

A new concept from the team behind DePaul’s Table in Ardmore is headed to Philadelphia.

DePaul’s Pronto is coming soon to the Graduate Hospital neighborhood, bringing a more casual, takeout-focused version of the DePaul’s brand to the city.

A Google search leads to a gated website for the concept; however, the description lists it at 917 S 20th Street, the current Southside Pizza location, which isn’t marked as closed on Google or Yelp yet. So we’ll see if that’s where it will be.

When Philly Grub reached out for a comment, owner Anthony DePaul said, “I am closing on the space next week and will be doing some construction to rebrand.” He anticipates an opening in mid-November.

The new concept will feature a broad menu that includes some familiar favorites from DePaul’s Table alongside dishes created specifically for Pronto. The lineup is expected to include steaks, pizza, cheesesteaks, pasta, salads, prepared meals and more.

Unlike the full-service DePaul’s Table restaurant, Pronto is designed primarily around takeout, delivery and catering, giving customers options from a quick lunch or family dinner to larger catered orders.

DePaul’s Table in Ardmore is known as a modern Italian steakhouse, with a menu centered around steaks, seafood, pasta and other Italian-inspired dishes. Pronto represents a different direction for the brand, with an emphasis on convenience and a wider variety of casual foods.

The Graduate Hospital location also brings DePaul’s name into Philadelphia and puts the new concept just south of Center City.

In the meantime, they will be passing out samples at this weekend’s Eagles game at the Linc. Check it out and let us know what you think!
