Pennsylvania Chocolate and Coffee Festival

Last Sunday in October, I attended the third annual Pennsylvania Chocolate & Coffee
Festival
, held at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks. I was excited to go
because who doesn’t love to sample chocolate and coffee?

The festival featured more than 150 vendors and brought together coffee roasters,
chocolatiers, businesses across the state, and artisans for tastings, shopping, live
demonstrations, and educational sessions celebrating the craft behind coffee and
chocolate.

The venue, Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA, is ideal for this festival; there is plenty of room for attendees to walk around, and the booths aren’t cramped. Vendors included more than just coffee and chocolate companies.

This year’s Chocolate Education Classroom brought together chocolate makers,
educators, authors, and industry experts, each with a unique story to tell. From multi-
generational cacao traditions in Ecuador to award-winning bean-to-bar craftsmanship,
these speakers took attendees beyond the tasting table and into the world of chocolate.

By sharing firsthand experiences from cacao farms, exploring centuries of chocolate
history, or demonstrating the artistry behind fine chocolate, each seminar offered a
chance to learn directly from people shaping today’s chocolate industry.

If you are looking for unique gift items, you’ll want to attend this next year. The festival is
also fun to explore with family or friends. It’s an experience I highly enjoyed; I hope to get
back there next year!
