The San Giorgio Pasta Food Truck Heads to Philadelphia for One Day Only!
On Tuesday, October 14th, the San Giorgio pasta 100th Anniversary Food Truck heads to Philadelphia to host an all-day, free pasta celebration throughout the city. The truck will be dishing out samples of San Giorgio pasta family favorites, as well as spotlighting the winning dish from the 100th Anniversary greater Philadelphia recipe contest.
Philadelphia local, Abby Watson, took the grand prize at the recipe cook-off competition held on September 24th at Ralph’s Italian Restaurant, where judges were impressed by Watson’s dish’s bold flavors. Watson will be serving up samples of her beloved family recipe, Nonna’s Grilled Pasta All’Amatriciana to the lucky patrons at Rittenhouse Square between 10AM-2PM.
Disclosure: Philly Grub is a huge fan of San Giorgio pasta! They were kind enough to send a care package to us. We have enjoyed a few meals including San Giorgio Rigatoni and San Giorgio Spaghetti. We recommend good old spaghetti with sausage and meatball marinara as seen on our Twitter update here.
