Hank’s Root Beer Shake Float
Iconic Philadelphia-based brands Hank’s Gourmet Beverages and Bassett’s Ice Cream have partnered to create an amazing new treat called the Hank’s Root Beer Shake Float.
On Tuesday, July 31 between 1:45 and 3:30 PM, they will be offering free samples of the new cool beverage at the Bassetts location in the Reading Terminal Market located at 51 North 12th Street.
Hank’s Root Beer Shake Float is a combination of a double scoop of Bassetts’ premium vanilla ice cream with a 12-ounce bottle of critically-acclaimed Hank’s Root Beer and a hearty dollop of the newly created Hank’s Root Beer Float Drizzle. These ingredients are then blended to a creamy froth, and served in a Drizzle-lined 20-ounce walkaway cup.
Both companies will also receive a citation from the City of Philadelphia and Councilman Al Taubenberger for their tasty partnership and good works at Reading Terminal Market.
