This First Friday, Pink Slime Gallery (454 East Girard Avenue) is hosting the Quaker City Malt Zine Release party with local artists including well-known illustrator Hawk Krall, designer and screenprinter Ralph Stollenwerk, food and drink photographer Neal Santos and several more showcasing their Philly influenced art. The artists will be selling original pieces commissioned just for this event. One original painting of Hawk Krall’s will be given away! Must attend to enter drawing.
Art and zines are cool, but there will be free booze and FREE CHEESE FOUNTAIN with Philly Pretzels. So that alone makes it worth going to. Even better? The first 100 people to arrive will be gifted a coupon for a free cheesesteak at Joe’s Steaks in Fishtown! The after party is hosted by Garage Fishtown. Grab your cheesesteak after the Zine release, head to Garage to enjoy it with QC Malt Lemon Shrub and Campari drink specials (9PM-11PM).
