I tweeted this the other day…
Seriously, though, Mike Solomonov is having a really good Spring so far.
-
His documentary film, In Search of Israeli Food, is playing on the big screen at the Ritz 5.
-
He opened new falafel shop, Goldie, last month.
-
Sweetgreen has partnered with him on the The Zahav Bowl.
Inspired by the flavors of Solomonov’s Israeli heritage, The Zahav Bowl includes hot chickpeas, kale, turmeric roasted cauliflower, roasted chicken, shredded carrots, almonds, Sweetgreen’s housemade hot sauce, “The Heat,” and is topped off with fresh dill + mint and a new lemon dill tahini dressing.
It will be available exclusively in Philadelphia area Sweetgreen’s from April 28 through the end of May.
I guess Philadelphia can’t get enough Mike Solo.
Enjoy yourself, dude!
