It feels like everyone is in Europe this summer but with flight expenses at an all-time high, if an overseas excursion is not in the cards for Philadelphians with a travel itch, Panorama, Philadelphia’s premier wine bar complete with a Guinness World Record winekeeper offering over 120 wines on tap and 30 tasting flights, is transporting locals to the coasts of Italy with a new Menu Di Pesce Estivo (summer fish menu) available through the end of August.

The late-summer menu celebrates local seasonal produce and Mediterranean seafood favorites, featuring nine specials from Executive Chef Anthony DiSabato, previously of Via Locusta.
DiSabato’s specials can be paired with a refreshing feature cocktail, the Limoncello Fresco Spritz ($16), boasting a secret Sena family limoncello recipe direct from Naples, mixed with sparkling Italian Prosecco, elderflower Liqueur, club soda and basil (this has been my personal drink of the summer).
Highlights from DiSabato’s menu include starters and shareables such as the Burrata ($17) with Jersey peaches, mezzo arugula, Sicilian pistachio and vin cotton; Jersey Tomato Carpaccio ($16) with English cucumber, pickled red onion, opal basil and herb oil; and a Compressed Watermelon Panzanella Salad ($16) with heirloom cherry tomatoes, garlic focaccia, arugula and blood orange vinaigrette.
Seafood shines in DiSabato’s four entrées:
Jersey Corn & Blue Crab Agnolotti ($33) — parmigiano corn brodo, fine herbs, Chile oil
Lobster Ravioli ($34)
Crab & Spaghetti ($33) — traditional crab gravy, spaghetti, basil
Flounder Française ($38) — sautéed spinach, white wine, Sicilian oregano, grilled lemon
The menu is complete with a Key Lime Cheesecake ($13) and a Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta ($12) with Jersey peach compote and shortbread crumble.
The Summer Seafood Menu is available during all hours of operation, Tuesday-Thursday 5-9 pm, Friday 5-10 pm, Saturday 3-10 pm and Sunday 3-9 pm.
