It was announced on Facebook yesterday that Manayunk Tavern, which has been open at 4247 Main Street in Manayunk for the past 16 years, would close and become Bar Jawn – run by the Pizza Jawn folks.
The menu will be revamped with an emphasis on Italian fare and cocktails.
A full re-branding is expected to be rolled out shortly, but they are retaining much of the staff, which is good news. They will be testing new menu items over the next few weeks to see what sticks.
