Sandwich Corner Market is Now Open in Francisville

Sandwich Corner Market recently hosted its grand opening at 1945 Poplar Street (corner of 20th and Poplar) in Francisville. The corner sandwich shop is co-owned by Chef Evan Seplow and Pam Seplow.

Chef Evan Seplow has been cooking for over three decades, having worked at the White Dog Cafe for eight years, serving as the opening chef at The Belgian Cafe for a decade, and subsequently at Urban Saloon in Fairmount.

“My lifelong dream has been to run a neighborhood sandwich shop,” Seplow told Philly Grub.

Construction began last year with a space secured in Francisville but experienced many setbacks. Initially set to open in the summer of 2022, it finally opened this month.

Sandwich Corner Market specializes in various hot and cold sandwiches, from classic favorites to imaginative creations, breakfast all day, and their signature house-made beef sausage.

The prepared food case constantly changes, offering various delectable grab-and-go meal options. All baked goods are made in-house with the most delicious sweet treats. They make refreshing homemade lemon and mint limeade daily and offer locally-roasted drip coffee and cold brew. Various hot and iced teas, egg creams, and Vietnamese coffee round out the drink menu.

True to its name, Sandwich Corner Market also offers a selection of fresh produce and dry goods by weight. They will also carry store merchandise (t-shirts, mugs, etc.)

Sandwich Corner Market will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily. Customers can call ahead (215) 298-0022 or order online for quick pickup.
