Kensington Community Food Co-op, a local, community-owned grocery store, is excited to announce its reopening. The members-owned cooperative store is open every day from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm and staff is eager to welcome customers back with an inviting and cheerful atmosphere. The reopening comes on the heels of an extensive revamp including product expansions offerings, better all-around customer service and friendlier pricing strategies.
In addition to its newly augmented line of popular product offerings such as “Do Good’ Natural Chicken, and all kinds of new beverages and snacks, they will offer items exclusive to KCFC that are sure to delight both its existing membership and future customer base. The store has made several changes to enhance the shopping experience, including a refreshed layout, new pricing replacing pricier items with budget friendlier ones, new merchandise, and a diverse mix of products that meets all the needs of the people shopping there. Additionally, the store will offer exciting community-based events and workshops in the future.
“We’re thrilled to open our doors and welcome back our community,” says Dennis Hanley of Columinate, the grocery industry consulting organization hired by the Co-op’s Board and members. “The KCFC team has worked hard to create a new space that is not only beautiful, but also serves the needs of our customers. We can’t wait to share all the exciting changes and new products with everyone.”
Kensington Community Food Co-op is committed to providing high-quality, locally sourced products that are affordable and accessible to everyone. The Co-op also strives to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere where members and shoppers can connect, learn, and grow together.
