Beck’s Cajun Café at Reading Terminal Market will unveil its brand-new expansion with a ribbon cutting event on Wednesday, February 1 at 11 a.m., right in time for Mardi Gras. The “Best of Philly” Cajun and creole restaurant has extended its physical footprint to offer twice as much seating and a second kitchen for its staff.
Chef and owner Bill Beck is also debuting new menu items and weekly specials that showcase some of the best New Orleans cuisine north of the Mason-Dixon.
To celebrate the expansion, Beck’s Cajun Café will offer two of its newest menu additions from February 1 – February 5: Beck’s Chicken Salad and Fried Oyster Po’ Boy and a non-alcoholic Hurricane.
Throughout the month of February, Beck’s is also donating 10% of all proceeds from the sale of its King Cake to the Metropolitan Area Neighborhood Nutrition Alliance (MANNA). Customers can pre-order King Cake, po’boys, beignets, and other Mardi Gras classics from Beck’s ahead of Fat Tuesday celebrations on Tuesday, February 21.
Beck’s Cajun Cafe is located at 1136 Arch Street in the Reading Terminal Market.
