Take a “Tour of Cuba” at Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar in Old City

Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar, located at 10 S. 2nd St. in Old City, is kicking-off National Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 – October 15) with a “Tour of Cuba” menu and a new TikTok recipe series as part of the month-long celebration.

“As we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, we invite guests to celebrate and honor the rich traditions of Latin cultures,” said Cuba Libre’s Chef-Partner Guillermo Pernot. “We look forward to celebrating this exciting time with our guests with the launch of our ‘Tour of Cuba’ program and recipe series on our new TikTok channel.”

From September 15 to October 15, the restaurant will offer a “Tour of Cuba” three-course prix-fixe menu for $40. The three-course meal features numerous traditional and classic Cuban dishes from the restaurant’s regular menu. Guests choose from delicious aperitivos (starters) like black bean soup, pineapple guacamole Cubano, Jardín salad, spinach and manchego buñuelos; main entrees like arroz con pollo, ropa vieja, pollo asado, paella vegetariana; and complete the tour with the choice of a decadent dessert, including Cuban flan and churros con chocolate.

For the full tour experience, guests can start their celebration with a specialty Tour of Cuba cocktail. Drink specials include La Palma (Don Q Oak Barrel spiced rum, guarapo, sugar, lime – $13), and Havana Breeze (Bacardi Añejo Cuatro rum, guarapo, pineapple and lime juice – $13).

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, guests are also invited to follow Cuba Libre on TikTok for recipe inspiration by Chef Guillermo Pernot.
