PHILADELPHIA, PA – Rex at The Royal, Philadelphia’s home for elevated Lowcountry fare housed in the historic and newly rejuvenated Royal Theater, is celebrating Imbibe‘s tenth annual Negroni Week from Monday, September 12 through Sunday, September 18 with a special Negroni Menu, courtesy of Beverage Manager Joshua Scheid.
The Negroni Week menu boasts five variations on the classic, including a Boulevardier featuring the Official Bourbon of Negroni Week, Coopers’ Craft Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Additionally, on Wednesday, September 14, Rex at The Royal will host an exclusive Negroni Hour, where guests can sip on five cocktails paired with light hors d’oeuvres courtesy of Executive Chef Aaron Paik.
Rex at The Royal will be crafting cocktails for a cause during Negroni Week with hundreds of other restaurants and bars around the world to support Imbibe and Campari in raising money for this year’s giving partner Slow Food, a global organization that promotes local food and traditional cooking. Slow Food represents the ethos of Negroni Week, as it aims to cultivate community, foster equity and justice, and seek a better world for all through food and beverage. To date, Negroni Week’s fundraising totals over $3 million.
