Instanbul Cafe opened two months ago at 301 Market Street at the former OCF Coffee location.
The independently-owned coffee shop served Turkish coffee in traditional and ornately designed Turkish coffee cups. Regular and iced coffee, espresso drinks, and hot and iced teas are also available.
According to Wikipedia, Turkish coffee is prepared in a cezve (a long-handled pot made of brass or copper) using finely ground coffee beans without filtering, resulting in a thicker beverage. It is typically stronger than other coffee, with a higher concentration of caffeine.
Traditional Turkish pastries such as baklava, borek, and spinach pogacha, a savory unleavened bread prevalent in the Balkans, are offered.
Early reviews are good, so you should check it out.
