Misfits Market, the leading organic direct-to-consumer food subscription and the nation’s fastest-growing grocery delivery service celebrated the opening of its new 250,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility in Delanco, NJ, which replaced its facility in Pennsauken, NJ.

Custom built by Stanker & Galetto of Vineland, N.J., it boasts advanced technology and cold-chain equipment. The brand new $23 million facility allows Misfits Market to more than double its order capacity across the 30 states it serves in the Eastern U.S.
The company has an on-site staff of 700, with plans to hire up to 300 additional employees as it continues to build a sustainable, affordable online grocer of the future.
Misfits Market is hosted a Ribbon Cutting ceremony on Friday, October 2nd at the new Delanco facility.

“This state-of-the-art temperature-controlled facility will help us efficiently serve more than one million households with organic produce and other affordable groceries to their door, especially in areas where access to healthy food is limited,” says Chris Nelson, Chief Operating Officer at Misfits Market.
“The increased capacity and operations sophistication on-site allows us to further expand our product offerings, release new product features, and continue to rescue tens of millions of pounds of produce annually.”
