Saigon Noodle Bar, a Vietnamese restaurant operated by Chuong Le is now open for business in the MARKET located at 8221 Germantown Avenue in Chestnut Hill, Pennsylvania (behind the Chestnut Hill Hotel, parking available on East Southampton Avenue). Hours of operation include Wednesday-Sunday 11am-8pm.
Saigon Noodle Bar specializes in Pho (pronounced fuh) and is most known for its pho with brisket, well-done flank steak, and meatballs. Other pho flavors include chicken, shrimp, and veggie. Additional menu items include Vermicelli, spring rolls, and banh mi.
Every Pho order comes with limes to sweeten and brighten the meal, jalapenos for heat, bean sprouts for crunch, and basil for a flavor boost. Chuong recommends adding these extra items to your liking and placing the basil on top. Then, take your spoon, sip, and enjoy!
Chuong Le came to Philadelphia from Saigon about 15 years ago and learned how to make delicious Vietnamese food from his parents. Chuong Le is also a partner of Pho Saigon in Oxford Circle on Bustleton Avenue and has plans to expand to Wilmington, Delaware.
Chuong Le is excited to be part of the Chestnut Hill Community and is looking forward to kicking off the Fall and winter season with cooler temperatures.
