The Fishtown Neighbors Association and Tioga-Franklin Savings Bank are proud to announce the 11th Annual RiverCity Festival, taking place on Saturday, October 13 from 12:00pm – 6:00pm in Fishtown’s historic Penn Treaty Park.

Through this exciting fall festival, the Fishtown Neighbors Association and Tioga-Franklin Savings Bank aim to build and strengthen relationships within the Fishtown community, promote local artists and businesses, and showcase what makes Fishtown such an important part of the greater Philadelphia area.

John Coleman, CEO of Tioga-Franklin Savings Bank, a 145 year-old community bank based in the heart of Fishtown and title sponsor for this year’s festival, says, “Recently, Fishtown has become one of Philadelphia’s hottest neighborhoods, so we’re excited to showcase the best of what our community has to offer.”

Boasting a wide array of local food and beverage suppliers such as Philadelphia Brewing Company, Fishtown Brewpub, Evil Genius, Nick’s Roast Beef, and KQ Meals, the RiverCity festival will be a place where both neighbors and strangers alike can enjoy local bites and brews while taking advantage of the fall weather and beautiful views.

Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy live music from famed Philadelphia artists. During the event, XPN will welcome Huffamoose to the Eagle One Credit Union Main Stage, where visitors will be able to enjoy a live performance by the famed rock band. Furthermore, local businesses and artists will present unique creations and exclusive deals and offers throughout the duration of the festival. “This year, we’re expecting our largest turnout yet,” says Neil Brecher, event director. “With Fishtown in the spotlight, we can’t wait to show everyone the wonderful people and things this community has to offer.”

This is a family-friendly event, where adults and children of all ages will be able to participate in games and contests. While the event is free to attend, all proceeds will benefit the programs of the Fishtown Neighbors Association, which aims to continually connect Fishtown neighbors, preserve the area’s unique character, and honor the community’s shared vision for its future. The RiverCity Festival is made possible with support from the Penn Treaty Special Services District and the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation.
