Turducken Sandwich Returns to Jake’s Sandwich Board

Jake's Turducken Sandwich

Jake’s Sandwich Board is excited to announce the return of  Philadelphia’s favorite holiday sandwich – The Turducken Sandwich. Starting November 1st through Thanksgiving (for the 7th year in a row).

The Turducken Sandwich at JSB starts with a fresh-baked Carangi roll smothered in cranberry spread, a layer of apple-sausage stuffing, stuffed with slow-roasted, Creole-seasoned, slices of whole roasted turkey, slow roasted duck, and succulent chicken. The masterpiece is topped off with savory brown gravy and our own crispy potato pancakes. To elevate this Philadelphia cult classic you can pair it with a Pumpkin Pie Shake, Bassets pumpkin ice cream and topped with ginger bread cookies and pie crust.

“Last year, our Turducken Sandwich sales tripled. We sold out almost everyday. It was hard to keep up with demand. “ says owner Gary Dorfman.” I truly felt the energy and was reminded why Philadelphia is the quintessential sandwich city. This year we are taking advanced orders.”

Jake’s Sandwich Board is Philadelphia’s premier sandwich shop. Accolades include winner of 2012, 2016 “Best of Philly” in Philadelphia Magazine, 2013 “Best Cheesesteak” by The Philadelphia Business Journal and television features on the Food Network, Travel Channel & Destination America.

Jake’s Sandwich Board is open seven days a week breakfast thru dinner. There are two locations: Center City (122 S. 12th Street) and University City (125 S. 40th Street).
