Grubspotting: Peaches & Brie Flatbread at Southern Cross Kitchen

Hard to believe, but summer is gradually winding down already. Some stores are already selling Halloween candy and decor. Crazy! And yes, pumpkin everything is coming.

Conshohocken’s Southern Cross Kitchen (8 E 1st Ave, Conshohocken, PA) still has plenty of summer on the mind and several dishes highlight the season. One of those dishes is the delicious Peaches N’ Brie Flatbread. Caramelized peaches, salty brie cheese, spicy pecans, and fried kale… yes, please!

Also available are the BBQ Brisket Sandwich and Seared Pork Belly dishes, which are perfect as entrees for lunch or dinner. A southern traditional staple – the Pan Fried Catfish – has also been modernized with Andouille sausage, corn, mushroom, potatoes, grilled asparagus, and spicy aioli as a surprise for more adventurous guests.

For the seafood lovers, Southern Cross Kitchen has added several entrees including the succulent Crab Cakes and Blackened Salmon.

Southern Cross Kitchen is open daily. Monday through Friday 11 AM to close and weekends 10 AM to close. The new menu is offered during lunch and dinner.

Enjoy!
