The White Dog Wayne is hosting a special day-long Kentucky Derby celebration on Saturday, May 6, 2017. It will be a day of Mint Juleps, the best two minutes in sports, and the finest Derby attire this side of Kentucky! Celebrate the spring opening of their patio or drink and dine inside.
Beginning at 10am at brunch and throughout dinner, White Dog Wayne celebrates The Kentucky Derby with specialty cocktails only available on Derby day and a special treat from the kitchen for those that come in their Derby best. Big brimmed hats are certainly welcome!
In addition to the usual Mint Julep or a Strawberry Basil Bourbon Smash, Derby-only cocktails include the Dog and Pony Show (Smoked Honey Peach Bourbon Smash) or the Calla Cosmo (Oaks Lily with White Cranberry Juice & St. Germaine). The Oaks Lily is the official drink of the Kentucky Oaks, which is the filly race on the Friday before the Derby.
