Earth Day Morning Yoga and Free Falafel at Mainland Inn in Harleysville, PA

Yoga on the Lawn at Mainland Inn on Earth Day

On Saturday, which is Earth Day, Mainland Inn owner Sloane Six, along with experienced yoga instructor Martha Parrish-Bush, will host ‘Yoga on the Lawn’ at 10:30 a.m, an hour-long yoga session for $20 per person.

While guests are asked to bring their own mats (in case of a wet lawn), Ms. Six encourages guests to do their yoga directly on the grass, explaining that, “This will be a complete Earth experience, with nothing separating your body from the surface of the Earth.” Six also pointed out the health benefits of this yoga session, staring, “Direct contact with the earth —or “earthing” — provides great health benefits such as reducing stress, inflammation and fatigue.”

Following yoga, guests will be welcome to come into the restaurant for complimentary falafel, as well as lunch, which will feature a kale salad and a light dessert. Lunch will be an additional $15 for all participants.

The Mainland Inn is located at 17 Mainland Road Harleysville, PA 19438. Call (484) 704-2600 for info.
