National Black & White Cookie Day is Monday, September 14, and Levain Bakery is turning the occasion into a four-day celebration. The bakery’s Black & White Chocolate Chip Cookie returns Friday, September 11 through Monday, September 14.
Levain puts its own decadent spin on the classic New York black-and-white cookie. Instead of the familiar frosted, cake-like cookie, Levain’s version starts with its signature thick cookie, baked with extra-dark cocoa, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and white chocolate chunks.
And this year, there’s something new to sip alongside it.
Try the New Black & White Cookie Milk Latte
Levain is also celebrating with its Black & White Cookie Milk Latte, inspired by the cookie itself. The bakery creates its cookie milk by steeping cookies in oat milk overnight before layering it with espresso and finishing it with cold foam and cookie crumbles.
The Black & White Cookie Milk Latte will also be available September 11–14, making this a very good weekend to make a Levain run.
