UPDATE: The Taco Truck is closed already. They only lasted 3 and a half months!
This review was submitted by suburban field reporter Deanne Ross.
Uno, dos, tres, tacos! The Taco Truck has arrived at The King of Prussia Mall! It is located at the recently opened Savor Food Hall, part of the connection between The Court and The Plaza.
The food is fast & oh so fresh! The Taco Truck brings a unique dining option to The King of Prussia Mall. Fast, fresh Mexican cuisine. Offering tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas, chips, salsa and guacamole.
I had the opportunity to sample the following…
Al Pastor tacos (marinated pork, onion, cilantro, pineapple, fresh green salsa)
Quesadillas Las Gringas (marinated pork, queso, pineapple, fresh green salsa)
Torta Barbacoa (braised beef, chipotle salsa, avocado, black beans, crema, onion, pickled jalapeno on a toasted white roll)
Salsa Roja and Salsa Verde & Guacamole with Chips
Churros (filled with Mexican caramel)
Everything was fresh, savory, and perfectly seasoned.
The prices are fair and comparable to other fast Mexican food establishments. You can expect to pay $3 for a taco and $9.50 for a burrito. Nothing on the menu is priced over $9.50.
On beverage offerings, regular & Mexican sodas are available. Taco Truck also offers a refreshing alternative to sodas. They serve their house made flavored fruit waters (Aguas Frescas). They are slightly sweetened and absolutely delicioso. Choose from lime, strawberry, mango, & hibiscus. Lime was my personal favorite flavor.
So, if you are in the King of Prussia Mall and in the mood for some delicious fast, Mexican cuisine….meet me at The Taco Truck and let’s taco ‘bout it!
