Margaritas Mexican Restaurant is a collection of 26 locations from Maine to Pennsylvania that serve scratch-made Mexican inspired cuisine. From September 27th to October 31st, Margaritas is celebrating their love of tacos & National Taco Day in a really BIG & IMPACTFUL way!
Meet the Taco Gigante: a whopping 12-inch, 2lb colossal taco filled to the brim with all your favorite taco ingredients. They start with a made in-house hard-shell taco, bigger than your face. Then they stuff it with all of the fresh-made Mexican fixings from Margaritas scratch-kitchen: seasoned chicken, taco beef, pork carnitas, bacon, lettuce, refried beans, Mexican rice, salsa fresca, cheese and queso sauce. Last but not least they top it with hacienda and picante sauce, crema and pickled jalapeños to form the Taco Gigante!
Not only is it mega delicious but $1 from every Taco Gigante sold will be donated to American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Additionally, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, $1.00 from every Strawberry Margarita sold will also be donated to the same organization.
Also, Margaritas in Langhorne, PA is holding a Taco Gigante Eating Challenge this Sunday, Oct 2nd at 4PM.
The Bristol Township Police Department will squaring off with the Fairless Hills Fire Department, in what they are calling “The Battle of the Badge.” The winning team receives a $250 donation to the charity of their choice and a free Margaritas taco party. The losing team receives a $100 donation to their chosen charity.
