Yakitori Boy, Philly’s only authentic Izakaya and upscale karaoke lounge (211 N. 11th Street), is hosting their 8th Anniversary Celebration tonight. It kicked off at 6PM with a fun Media Only party which we just got back from.
Yakitori Boy is a two story venue. Downstairs is the restaurant. Izakaya is a Japanese version of a pub, serving a variety of small dishes that Yakitori Boy affectionately calls Japanese Tapas, or “Japas.” What could be more fun than snacking on half sushi rolls, Yakitori skewers, tempura and drinking? Upstairs is the Japas Karaoke Lounge and 8 private karaoke rooms that you can book privately to enjoy with your friends.
It’s absolutely wonderful that Yakitori Boy is still around after 8 years and we wish them many more years in Chinatown! If you’ve never been you definitely need to put it on your list of fun things to do in the city.
Happy Anniversary, Yakitori Boy! Thank you Philly PR Girl for the invite to the event.
