HipCityVeg and Bassetts Ice Cream have teamed up for a new menu of plant-based frozen treats just in time for the dog days of summer. The collab features Bassetts’ mango-apricot sorbet in three unique drink combinations by HipCityVeg:

Float City: A bright, bubbly escape in a glass. Float City starts with a scoop of Bassetts mango apricot sorbet—tangy, tropical, and ultra-smooth—topped with the crisp fizz of Boylan’s classic ginger ale. The result is a vibrant, effervescent float that’s both nostalgic and refreshingly modern. Sweet, zesty, and impossible to sip without smiling.

Sunset Swirl Smoothie: Tropical bliss in every sip—this vibrant smoothie blends Bassetts mango apricot sorbet, ripe bananas, and tangy pineapple juice into a creamy, sun-soaked base. A generous swirl of strawberry purée ribbons through the mix, adding a burst of berry brightness and a beautiful visual pop. It’s fruity, refreshing, and as dazzling as a summer sunset.

Mango Cream Supreme: A golden blend of tropical indulgence—this velvety shake swirls together Bassetts mango apricot sorbet, luscious organic soy & vanilla bean ice cream, and a splash of bright orange juice. The result? A rich, citrusy cream dream with a silky-smooth texture and sun-kissed flavor that’s both refreshing and decadently smooth.

All HipCityVeg Philly locations will also offer scoops of Bassetts’ mango apricot sorbet. Each new item was developed with Bassetts President himself, Alex Bassett Strange.
