What to Eat at The Devon Horse Show & Country Fair

The 2024 Devon Horse Show and Country Fair celebrates its 128th anniversary as the oldest and largest outdoor multi-breed horse show in North America. This year’s show includes an additional day to accommodate the increase in entries and to offer riders and attendees an extra day of competition and pageantry.

Are you a fan of the Devon Horse Show & Country Fair?

The 12-day event running between May 22 and June 2 features an all-star lineup of entertainment, gourmet food, specialty boutiques, midway with amusement rides and carnival games, and more. Remaining true to its legacy, The Devon Horse Show and Country Fair raises money for their beneficiary, The Bryn Mawr Hospital.

Here are some highlights of the food and drink to enjoy at the show and fair.

The Tea Cart – Classic Devon Tea Sandwiches by Heathland Hospitality, Wraps, Cupcakes, Cookies, Breakfast Items, Iced and Hot Teas

1896 Grille – Pizzas, French Fries, Burgers, Hot Dogs

Sodas & Ice Cream – Smoothies, Bassett’s Ice Cream, Bassets Ice Cream Bars dipped in Belgium Chocolate (Vanilla or Sea Salt Caramel), Popcorn, Soda, and Water

Candy Booth – Lemon Sticks (A Devon Tradition), Devon Fudge (A Devon Tradition and Secret Recipe), Candy Assortment

Sips & Bits – Espresso Beverages by Café Gourmino (based in West Chester), Specialty Hand Rolls by Madi’s On a Roll (based in Exton), Culinary Delights by Di Bruno Bros. (charcuterie, salads, sandwiches), Mocktails, Chicken Nuggets for Kids and Kids at Heart

Garden Café by Heathland Hospitality – Upscale Dining Experience, Sandwiches, Salads, Entrees, and Lobster Rolls

Midway – Funnel Cakes, Water Ice, Cotton Candy, Homemade Lemonade

The Wine Gazebo will offer wine and beer.

Boxholder catering is provided by Di Bruno Bros., Heathland Hospitality, and Madi’s On a Roll.
