Center City Mexican restaurant Rosy’s Taco Bar is bringing its authentic, contemporary atmosphere and eats to a whole new audience with the opening of Rosy’s Taco Bar East. The Mexican-inspired pub will bring a similar carefree spirit to that of its sister restaurant serving authentic tacos, small plates and entrees in a vibrant setting. Rosy’s Taco Bar East will open on Thursday, November 9  at the corner of 6th and Bainbridge.

Driven by demand, Rosy’s Taco Bar East is a casual, ultra modern Mexican restaurant that will serve homemade masterpieces that include many traditional selections alongside exciting and innovative dishes. Their menus have long featured authentic favorites, with recipes hand crafted from only the finest and freshest ingredients. The new restaurant will feature the same delicious menu of antojitos, ensaladas, tacos, and entrees that have made Rosy’s a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The new location will also feature a full bar with a selection of sangria, margaritas, and Mexican and domestic beers for patrons to imbibe in. 

“A lot of support has been shown to Rosy’s Taco Bar from our center city residents,” says Rosy’s Taco Bar owner Avram Hornik. “The vision for Rosy’s East was to bring the same elevated Mexican-American style concept to new Philadelphia residents with an emphasis on authentic cuisine. We are also excited about the addition of an event space at this location so that residents can enjoy local talent closer to their homes.”

Rosy’s Taco Bar, the premier Mexican-American original, continues to grow as this local Philadelphia restaurant expands to a second location this fall. By remaining committed to its patrons, and the breezy, adventurous spirit of its namesake, Rosy’s Taco Bar has kept customers coming back to treat themselves to great food, drinks, and vibes in their friendly, neighborhood cantina. With the addition of the second floor, evening patrons will have a wide variety of entertainment to partake in from DJs to live music, and more.

Conveniently situated in South Philadelphia at 624 S. 6th St., the newest restaurant will accommodate diners and nightlife enthusiasts alike, and will follow the same approach that proved successful at their Center City location.
