Living in Pennsylvania just got sweeter as Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard - the beloved brand known for its delicious Italian Ice and Frozen Custard treats – today announced it is hosting the grand opening for its first location in Edgmont at 4815 West Chester Pike on Friday, July 14th.
On Friday, July 14th, starting at 3 p.m., the new location will reward the first 50 guests in line with Free Rita’s Italian Ice for a Year!* Additionally, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., the store will be offering guests $2 Small Italian Ice and $3 Small Gelati. Guests are also invited to enjoy free giveaways from the Rita’s prize wheel, photo opportunities with Rita’s mascot Ice Guy, swag giveaways, and more.
To commemorate Edgmont’s first Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard location, local franchisee Bob and Heidi Ruprecht will host the shop’s official ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4 p.m. alongside the Autism Wings and Support Homeless Veterans organizations.
Rita’s Italian Ice is made fresh daily on-site and available in a rotating daily selection from over 75 flavors. Rita’s menu also includes creamy Frozen Custard and signature frozen treats such as Gelati, Concretes, Milkshakes and more.
Rita’s is actively looking for additional franchisees to help develop the brand throughout the country. The brand is seeking to partner with hands-on entrepreneurs who are passionate about the brand and motivated to grow.
