If brings me no joy to announce another closure, but it certainly isn’t unexpected in these continuing difficult times. The restaurant business is hard enough in good times, let alone challenging ones.
Pierogi Factory, a beloved Polish restaurant in Northeast Philly, will see the month of July out, and close early in August. Citing wanting to go in a different life direction, it wasn’t for the lack of business. They counted many loyal customers over the past nearly 10 years.
I have tried their pierogies a few times and wrote about them a few years ago during the pandemic. It makes me sad, but they had a good run, and I really do wish them well!
Where is your favorite place to get handmade pierogies or Polish food in Philadelphia?
If you like what I do, throw me a coffee or a stiff drink!
I’m a *REAL* person and your support means the world to me!
