Fishtown Pickle Project Celebrating National Pickle Day All Weekend

Fishtown Pickle Project Co-owners Mike Sicinski and Niki Toscani are getting into the holiday spirit – not for the usual Christmas or Hanukkah festivities – but for the upcoming National Pickle Day, which falls on Monday, November 14th.

To celebrate the food holiday, Mike and Niki are offering a plethora of prizes and deals from their beloved local pickle brand, which will be offered throughout the weekend leading up to National Pickle Day.

All customers who place orders online between Friday, November 11th, and Monday, November 14th, will receive 20% off their signature pickles. Additionally, every purchase gets automatically entered into a lottery for two grand prizes: One winner will join the Pickle of the Month Club, which includes two free jars per month for a full year — a value worth more than $500 after shipping. Second place will receive two free seats to an upcoming pickle-making class, which is valued at $135, and includes two DIY pickle jars, one jar of their signature pickles, and a jar of pickling spice.

Winners will be announced on Wednesday, November 16th on Fishtown Pickle Project’s Instagram page.

“We don’t need a holiday to celebrate pickles, but we’re happy someone created this random day so we could have fun and give our customers these fantastic incentives,” said Toscani. “Free pickles for a year would make anyone happy, and customers love our pickle-making classes so much that they always sell out. We thought it would be fun to offer one of them as a prize.”

Fishtown Pickle Project was created by Chef Mike Sicinski and dietitian Niki Toscani in 2018 after gifting handcrafted pickles to their wedding guests. Their small-batch fare is purposefully crafted using all-natural ingredients and bold flavors, sourcing cucumbers and other produce from local farms, like Muzzarelli Farms in Vineland, New Jersey.
