Over 50 Restaurants Participating in Team Burke Fundraiser this September

Beloved Philadelphia chef Jim Burke passed from lung cancer last month at age 49. Since then, there has been an outpouring of love and support for his wife Tina and children Dan and Sadie. A Go Fund Me is collecting donations to cover outstanding medical costs and help the family transition into this next phase of life without Jim.

Jim’s friends and colleagues Madison Alpern, Gia Vecchio, and Nicholas Elmi have rallied local chefs and restaurants who will serve a dish or drink created by or inspired by Jim on menus throughout September to honor his memory.

Over 50 restaurants have joined to feature a menu item, with all proceeds going towards Team Burke (Jim Burke’s family). Please patronize these establishments, and purchase these items, knowing you will be helping this young family move on after their devastating loss.

You can find the complete list of participating restaurants HERE.
