Attention Jollibee fans! The first Philadelphia location of the popular Filipino fast food chain opens this Friday, September 2nd in Northeast Philadelphia. The address is 7340 Bustleton Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19149 to be exact. It will be open from 9AM to 11PM daily for dine-in, take-out, or drive-through. Delivery will come later.
The expansion into the Philadelphia market is part of larger North American growth plans. There are now 70 stores in North America with 1300 stores across the globe! The company’s mantra is to “spread the joy of eating.”
It’s known for its fried chicken, chicken sandwiches, burgers, and spaghetti with a meat sauce made of ham, beef, and hot dogs! All foods common in America, but with a Filipino twist.
They also served Palabok Fiesta, a traditional Filipino noodle dish covered in garlic sauce, sautéed in pork, shrimp and egg, which is not so common or familiar in America.
There’s also a peach mango handpie offered as a dessert made with Phillipine mangoes!
