Jet Wine Bar, Philadelphia’s “global vineyard” and South Street’s urban oasis, is thrilled to announce the launch of its first-ever late-night happy hour, offered every Wednesday through Saturday from 8 – 10 pm, in addition to happy hour on Sunday from 2 – 4 pm, with drink specials spanning house wine, select beer, cocktails such as the Rosé Aperol Spritz, Sparkling Rosé Margarita, and sangria. Additionally, Jet Wine Bar’s hours of operation are expanding to Sundays from 12 – 6 pm, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5 – 10 pm, Fridays from 5 – 11 pm, and Saturdays from 2 – 11 pm!

In the foliage-filled garden space adjacent to Jet Wine Bar, surrounded by greenery and the mural-clad walls, guests can sip libations from the expansive menu of rare and popular wines from all corners of the globe, in addition to a selection of local beer, housemade cocktails, and popular dishes, like vegan pretzel bites, mezze spread served with pita chips and hummus, tacos, chicken sandwich sliders and more.

Rosé Aperol Spritz ($8) — Aperol, lime, sparkling rosé wine

Sparkling Rosé Margarita ($8) — Tequila, lime, orange liqueur, sparkling rose wine

White or Red Sangria ($5/$17 for pitcher)

House Wine ($5) – Red, white, rosé

Select Beer ($5) – Erdinger Weissbier, Neshaminy Creek Beach Fuzz, Troegs Sunshine Pilsner

Included below are a few of the fan-favorite bites from Jet Wine Bar’s on-site food truck available during happy hour:

Vegan Pretzel Bites ($4) – Served with brown mustard

Mezze Spread ($5) — Served with pita chips, hummus, baba ghanoush, tzatziki, or pkhali

Chicken Sandwich Sliders ($4/$7 for two) — With lemon-dijon aioli, pickles

Tacos ($4/$7 for two) – Crafted with cheesesteak or shrimp

“The people asked, so we listened!” said Colin Elko, General Manager of Jet Wine Bar. “Late-night happy hour is the new happy hour – especially in this heat. This way, when our happy hour starts at 8 pm, the sun has just finished setting, and our guests can enjoy the cooling summer breeze in the garden after dinner.”

Jet Wine Bar’s current hours of operation are as follows: Sunday 12 – 6pm, Wednesday through Thursday 5 – 10 pm, Friday 5 – 11 pm, Saturday 2 – 11 pm. Late-night happy hour is available Wednesday through Saturday from 8 – 10 pm, in addition to happy hour on Sunday from 2 – 4 pm. 

Jet Wine Bar’s greenery and bar would not be complete without the murals that adorn the space that were hand painted by Philadelphia muralist Carlos ‘Calo’ Rosa. In addition to Calo’s work, the garden’s beautiful art space also features works by local artists Oluwafemi and Priscilla Anacakuyani.
