Solstice in Newtown is Permanently Closed

Solstice in Newtown announced today on its Facebook page that it is closing after two years.

I’ve written about Solstice a couple of times, but never did find an opportunity to check it out. The new American restaurant with a seasonal menu opened with much fanfare just before the pandemic, but likely didn’t realize its full potential as a result of COVID-19.

I’m sure that the location won’t remain vacant for too long as the Village at Newtown is a thriving shopping center with many other restuarants such as Iron Hill Brewery, Harvest Seasonal Grill, Turning Point, Bomba Taco and McCaffrey’s Food Market, among other retail stores.
