MilkBoy to Open Beer Garden on Eakins Oval near Art Museum
Eakins Oval

MilkBoy will open a large beer garden on Eakins Oval in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art this summer. It will be open from June to August, Wednesday through Sunday, to serve thirsty city folks and tourists hanging out on Benjamin Franklin Parkway or making their way to various destinations nearby.

The Oval has been closed since the pandemic but is looking to make a comeback this year. With MilkBoy on board serving adult beverages, it should shape up to be an popular spot this summer as it had been in previous years before COVID-19, which also featured food, activities, live entertainment, kid-friendly stuff, and much more.

I read this through the grapevine and will publish more details as I receive them, but it’s a done deal. They are hosting a job fair this Friday at the 11th & Chestnut Street location from 11AM-4PM. If you’re looking for a job, check it out.
