The Yard at South Bowl Reopens

South Bowl is a bowling alley and event venue in South Philadelphia that opened in 2014. In 2019, South Bowl added to its entertainment complex by launching Philadelphia’s ultimate backyard experience, The Yard, making it a prime destination for outdoor fun.

The 5,000 square-foot outdoor oasis at 19 E. Oregon Avenue gives visitors the perfect excuse to spend time with friends while playing various games under the sun. The Yard is home to slow and fast-pitch batting cages, two 40-foot-long bocce courts, shuffleboard, horseshoes, an outdoor arcade area with billiards, and a full bar with seating.

The drinks menu includes a variety of specialty cocktails, premium spirits, beer in cans, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks. The food menu features comforting and novelty foods such as pizzas, burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, salads, mac & cheese, tacos, tater tot dishes, and appetizers.

This South Philadelphia outdoor space is fun for parties, group gatherings, or hanging out with friends.

The Yard is open for evening fun Tuesday through Friday from 5 PM to 11 PM and Saturday & Sunday from 2 PM to 11 PM.
