Les Dames d’Escoffier Philadelphia Presents Philly Soul-Food Scene, a virtual 3-part series from slavery in kitchens to 2021 pop-ups and urban farmers.


Topics include geographic origins, agricultural influences, food injustices, and culinary achievements, focusing on the role of Black women in creating and nurturing the legacy that evolved into modern soul cuisine in Philadelphia.

Each 90-minute session runs from 6pm-7:30pm and includes talks, a cooking demo, and a panel discussion.
