Fearless Restaurants Mixing It Up with New Zoom Cocktail Classes

Fearless Restaurants might be closed due to COVID but that doesn’t mean they aren’t still mixing up some of the best cocktails in the area!

Fearless Restaurants, the parent company of White Dog Cafe Wayne, Haverford, Glen Mills, and University City; Autograph Brasserie, Rosalie, Louie Louie, Moshulu; and Daddy O and Tucker’s Tavern on Long Beach Island in New Jersey, closed all locations until sometime in 2021.

While the restaurants are closed for dining, they are hosting Zoom classes for guests to learn how to create some of the Fearless Restaurants’ signature cocktails.

Len Boris, Director of Beverages for Fearless Restaurants, will host 3 hour-long classes in the coming weeks.

January 12th – Winter Citrus Cocktails – guests will compare some common acids and sweeteners while making fresh seasonal citrus cocktails. This class’s citrus cocktails will be a whiskey sour, a Paloma, and coconut milk washed pina colada.

January 26 – Warming Winter Cocktails – guests will make a couple of different hot cocktails to warm you up on a cold winter night. The hot drinks on the menu will be a classic hot toddy, a hot gin punch, and an alcoholic hot chocolate.

February 9 – Champagne Cocktails – guests will learn how to make cocktails using champagne, including a French 75, bellini, and a Champagne fizz.

“While we are not in the restaurants serving food and cocktails, it was important for us to stay in contact with our guests. We had to pivot to create a unique way to offer them a taste of their favorite restaurants,” Boris said, adding, “and this is how the Zoom classes were conceived.

Each Zoom class will give guests the chance to make the cocktails at home with a Fearless Cocktails To-Go Kit, including all the ingredients to make two servings of each cocktail.

“I am excited to have the chance to share these recipes and also to interact with the guests via Zoom. We did a Zoom class like this recently for a not-for-profit organization, and it was great answering questions and going back and forth with the guests throughout the class,” Boris said.

Boris said in addition to learning to create cocktails, guests will learn insider tricks and tips. Classes are $45 and include a Fearless Cocktail Kit To-Go with all the ingredients you need to create these lively libations for two and the recipe. Kits can be picked up Monday, December 28, 2020, from 4 pm to 6 pm at White Dog Cafe Haverford 379 Lancaster Avenue, Haverford, or delivered directly to you for $60.
