South Jersey Diners & Bakery Sell T-Shirt to Help No Kid Hungry

Buy a t-shirt, help feed a kid!

A trio of family-owned eateries in Gloucester County has kicked off their Eat Well, Be Well, Stay Well campaign to help No Kid Hungry, a childhood hunger charity in America.

The Harrison House Diner and The Cake Boutique in Mullica Hill, NJ, and Point 40 Diner in Monroeville, NJ will be donating 15% of the retail price of their Eat Well, Be Well, Stay Well t-shirts to the charity.

Unfortunately, 1 in 4 children in the United States could face hunger this year due to Covid-19. Many children rely on food assistance programs through schools. With districts closed, many are left with limited options for food.

No Kid Hungry’s plan is to make sure children are fed, both during this crisis and in its aftermath. Through a combination of emergency grants, strategic assistance, advocacy, and awareness, they are equipping communities with the resources they need.

This is a great opportunity for people to provide meals for these children as well as support local businesses that have hit hard times during the last few months due to the coronavirus.

Right now, the shirts are pick-up only at either The Cake Boutique in Mullica Hill or Point 40 Diner in Monroeville, NJ and you can order online (simply choose your pick up location). They may offer to ship the future.

The t-shirts are a premium super-soft material in a charcoal color with a heathered look and are available in Adult sizes XS-XXL or Youth sizes XS-L.
