On August 24, Chef Ben and Elena Thomas will re-open their intimate Main Line BYOB as Cerise Craft Steakhouse. It will be the first independent BYBO steakhouse on the Main Line and after five years of delighting their guests with elegant, made-from-scratch dishes, Chef Ben will continue to use his discerning palate to create amazing meals utilizing the best available ingredients
Trained under Michelin-starred Chef Gerard Pangaud, Chef Ben Thomas has developed a precise technique borne of his classical French training. He believes that any ingredient, when flawlessly prepared, can really shine.
Chef Ben has personally curated the best prime steaks, which are individually sourced from farms and ranches that produce the highest quality of each cut of meat. This unique selection of prime steaks is supplemented by the freshest seafood and pasta dishes, signature starters, and inventive vegetable dishes.
The newly updated restaurant is designed to feel smart and fresh without being overly formal. Wine pairings are recommended on the restaurant’s website and selections currently available at the nearby Wine & Spirits Store across the street are graciously provided. Cerise Craft Steakhouse is sure to be the Main Line’s go-to destination for a great dining experience…all the prime without the pretention.
Chef Ben will also be doing a food demonstration and tasting this Saturday, August 11th at the Bryn Mawr Farmer’s Market where he will share a taste of some of the food to be featured at the new restaurant.
