The White Dog Cafe University City unleashed its expansion into a neighboring brownstone, formerly a hair salon, adding 82 seats and an expansive bar. The expansion completed on December 1, 2017, coincides with the upcoming 35th anniversary of the White Dog Cafe in January 2018.
The new space was designed by Kate Rohrer of Rohe Creative. The expansion includes 12 seats at the Parlor Bar and 80 new dining seats on two floors, as well as an additional 12 seats for seasonal dining outside on the patio.
The New Year also welcomes three decades of their annual New Year’s Day Brunch that invites guests to come to brunch in what they wore to bed. Even the team members at the White Dog Cafe locations will be adorning pajamas as they serve you your first meal of the New Year.
All three White Dog Cafe locations have partnered with BucksCounty-based Justin Jean Pajamas to help raise funds for Alpha Bravo Canine which provides trained service dogs to U.S military veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and other combat related disabilities.
