Plantation Restaurant, located in the heart of Harvey Cedars on LBI just completed a full renovation for summer 2017. While the design and décor are new, the restaurant offers the same great food, service and experience that makes it an old favorite for locals and a must visit for visitors.
The new interior features a bright and inviting décor of vibrant colors and a hint of Miami Beach. Green and white frond leaf wallpaper, new lighting and flooring and playful artwork brighten up the space and create a fresh, welcoming and inspiring atmosphere.
Old favorites remain on the menu, such as the signature clam chowder and are joined by new seasonal items that blend contemporary American beach flavors. Executive Chef Jeff Alberti changes the menu seasonally offering only the finest and freshest items available from fresh fish and seafood to great steaks and the best burger on the island! The menu offers everything from salads to mussels and crab cakes. There is also a vegetarian menu and a happy hour menu with drink specials. Plantation is that spot at the shore where old friends gather and new friends meet, from casual dining and cocktails to brunch and private events.
For those that enjoy a great cocktail and live music the energetic Monkey Bar was also redesigned and incorporates an extensive menu of specialty cocktails – both classic and creative, as well as beers and wines. One of the new drink additions is the Water Tower a 51oz rum punch cocktail served in an oversized fishbowl like glass with multiple colorful straws, perfect for sharing with friends! There is live music throughout the week and acoustic artists on the weekends.
