Liberty Hall Pizza’s publicist Peter Breslow will take control of the Lambertville, New Jersey Neapolitan pizzeria’s wood-fired Valoriani oven on Tuesday, January 10th beginning at 5 p.m. Breslow, who introduced Liberty Hall Pizza to the region in December of 2014, and has represented hundreds of top chefs and restaurateurs throughout the northeast U.S., including launching Atlantic City’s Borgata Hotel, Casino and Spa, is featuring two mouthwatering creations that the flack claims “he has wanted to produce since Liberty Hall Pizza was under construction.”
Breslow’s Spicy Gabagool is an ode to the Philadelphia native’s adoration of Italian hoagies and pizza since his early childhood. The pizza features spicy capicola, Pecorino cheese and tomato sauce, and is finished with a spicy Thai honey drizzle. The Steakhouse White, which is an homage to the dozen steakhouses that Breslow has introduced, features sliced New York strip steak, a variety of local mushrooms, sharp provolone, a horseradish beurre blanc, and is topped with long hots.
“I went to Thailand with Philadelphia-based Thai Chef Alex Boonphaya two years ago to learn about Thai culture and cuisine, and I fell in love with spicy food,” said Breslow. “You wouldn’t expect to put a sweet and spicy Thai sauce on an Italian hoagie or a pizza, but the sweetness of the honey pairs beautifully with the sweetness of the tomato sauce, and the spicy Thai sauce complements the spicy capicola. This pizza is incredibly delicious!”
A fifth generation butcher with four chef clients who have been acknowledged by Food & Wine magazine as “America’s Best New Chefs,” Breslow has been a restaurant publicist since 1997, and is considered one of the top food and hospitality consultants in the northeast U.S. Recognized on Philadelphia magazine’s “It List” in 2003 for being a rising-star in the region’s crowded PR community, he is currently the publicist behind The Pineville Tavern, The Doylestown Inn, the Stockton Inn, The Farm Cooking School, Chef Max Hansen and more than two dozen chefs and restaurateurs in Philadelphia and New Jersey. Peter grew up in Northeast Philadelphia, and graduated from Cheltenham High School in Wyncote, PA before studying public relations and marketing at Florida State University.
The entire Liberty Hall Pizza menu will also be available along with the guest chef’s pizzas for all Guest Pizzaiolo events, which take place once a month.
Opened in December 2014, Liberty Hall Pizza was named “one of the top 25 pizzerias in New Jersey” by Peter Genovese on NJ.com and recently listed as the 12th best restaurant in the state. The authentic Neapolitan pizzeria serves wood-fired pizzas along with garden-fresh salads and draught root beer floats. The pizzeria is open Tuesdays through Sundays for dinner, and serves lunch on Saturdays and Sundays.
Liberty Hall Pizza is located inside the Canal Studios Complex at 243 North Union Street in Lambertville, New Jersey.
