Thanks to Governor Tom Wolf signing Act 39 back in June, it opens up wine sales for establishments with restaurant licenses to sell wines to-go.In August, the PLCB started issuing permits for area businesses, including supermarkets and restaurants.
The Tria Cafes recently got a permit and are beginning the sale of their wines. On Saturday, they will begin a “Try It Before You Buy It” program called “Saturday Wine Market” at Tria Fitler Square located at 2227 Pine Street. It won’t be weekly at the start.
@PhillyGrub thanks! this won’t be weekly RIGHT AWAY but we’re working on more ways to sell great wine to go.
