The House of Suntory is bringing a taste of Tokyo’s legendary bar scene to Philadelphia with a weeklong celebration dedicated to the iconic Toki Highball.

From June 1 through June 7, several Philadelphia bars and restaurants will participate in Toki Highball Week, showcasing the crisp, refreshing Japanese whisky cocktail that has become a staple across Japan.
Participating locations include:
- Almanac (310 Market St)
- Yanaga Kappo Izakaya (637 N 3rd St)
- Time (1315 Sansom St)
- Uchi (1620 Sansom St)
In its purest form, a highball combines Suntory Toki Whisky with chilled soda water and a twist of citrus peel. The result is a light, bubbly cocktail designed to be smooth, balanced, and highly drinkable.
Select venues during the event will also feature the Toki Highball Machine, a specialty system engineered to deliver the cocktail with exceptional consistency and precision. The experience has often been described as “whisky champagne” thanks to its crisp carbonation and refreshing finish.
Toki Highball Week aims to recreate the energy and hospitality of Tokyo’s vibrant drinking culture while introducing Philadelphia guests to one of Japan’s most beloved whisky serves.
