Garces Group by Chef Jose Garces is partnering with Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP) to engage the next generation of chefs at the fourth annual benefit event IGNITE…Firing up Tomorrow’s Chefs.
C-CAP has selected Chef Jose Garces as their special honoree for the program as they celebrate 26 years of transforming lives through the culinary arts. The benefit will be held at Cira Centre Atrium at JG Domestic, 2929 Arch Street, Philadelphia, on Monday, November 14, 2016, 7:00 -10:00 p.m.
The event will feature tastings from renowned local chefs and restaurants from the Philadelphia region, and assisting them will be C-CAP high school students, eager to put their mark on the culinary world.

Proceeds from the third annual ‘IGNITE: Firing Up Tomorrow’s Chefs’ will support the non-profit Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C‐CAP) Philadelphia Region, which provides culinary scholarships, education, job training and lifetime career guidance to students at 20 area high schools in Philadelphia, Montgomery, Delaware and Chester counties.
